Michael A. Schwarz is an independent editorial, and corporate photographer and videographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Over a 30-year career, Michael has completed more than 6,000 assignments for clients around the world. Michael currently specializes in visual storytelling for non-profits, associations, publications, and political candidates, utilizing both stills and motion.
He is an FAA-certified drone pilot. Michael is a 4-time Pulitzer Prize nominee, has received numerous awards from the Pictures of the Year competition and was a winner of the Dag Hammarskjöld Award for Human Rights Advocacy Journalism. LIFE Magazine chose Michael as one of the ten best young photographers in the U.S. Most recently he has been awarded the 2024 Ryan White Distinguished Leadership Award.
